Hello! I’m Melissa Jacques, and I am genuinely honored to be an agent with Discovering the Magic Travel. My home is in Massachusetts, where I live with my husband and daughter. For over 20 years, I’ve dedicated my professional life to being a Special Education Teacher. In my free time, you can find me reading, enjoying the beach, spending quality time with my family, and, of course, traveling! I have a personal goal to visit all 50 states before I turn 50. I’m making great progress—by the end of 2025, I will have traveled to 42 states (yes, I’ve traveled to both Hawaii and Alaska!).
My love for travel started in childhood. My parents would load my sister, brothers, and me into the station wagon, and we would drive down the East Coast, stopping at various cities before finally making it to Walt Disney World. When I was in college, my passion for Disney led me to the Walt Disney World College Program. I had one of the best summer jobs driving the trams at the Ticket & Transportation Center (TTC)!
Now, as an agent, I want to channel my lifelong love of travel into helping you create equally wonderful vacation memories.
