Cait and Steph and battling it out for their favorite Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Disney Resorts! We will pick our favorite in each tier and tell you why it’s our personal favorite! Do you agree with us?!?

Pop is the best bang for your buck on property in my opinion. Value prices, but the fun theming throughout the resort completely immerses you in the Disney magic! My favorite part- The Skyliner. It is quick and easy transportation to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Such a fun relaxing way to get there and no folding up strollers for those with young kids. Each room fits up to 4 guests with a queen size bed and a pull down trundle bed. But don’t worry, the trundle bed is the exact same as the regular bed and just as comfy, and bonus, you can put it up for more room while you’re getting ready! You can also sit back and relax and enjoy the resort to the fullest. There are three pools with the main one being the Hippy Dippy pool. The Hippy Dippy pool is so fun and they have kids activities there daily. There is also a small splash pads for your little tots. My at the time-1 year old loved splashing around and it was a perfect break from the big pool for them. Don’t forget to check out the other kids’ activities at the resort like tie dye t-shirts and more!

Art of Animation is hands downs my favorite Value Resort. It has such a fun and vibrant theme for the whole family. Here you’ll find themes based of Cars, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. This Resort offers Standard rooms that sleep up to 4 that are Little Mermaid themed. These newly renovated rooms are sure to please any Ariel lover! I love that this Resort offers family suites for up to 6 guests. It gives families space to spread out and not feel on top of one another. You can choose from 1 of 3 themes for family suites, Cars, Finding Nemo, or The Lion King. This Resort truly immersing you in the movies! Not only are the rooms themed, you’ll find themed pools as well! The Cozy Cone Pool has giant orange cones that you can hid from the sun in. The best part, they are free! One of my favorite things about this Resort is that it is conveniently located on the Disney Skyliner. This new gondola system makes it quick and fun to get to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT! It makes mid-day breaks with the family so easy! Beats waiting for a bus any day!

Port Orleans French Quarter (POFQ) is a small, quaint beautiful resort! It’s actually the smallest on property, which makes everything nearby-which is perfect after long days at the parks! This moderate resort will transport you right down to NOLA with the wrought iron balconies and antique style gas lamps, the details are beautiful! Get the BEST beignets at Scat Cats Club and at night listen to a little jazz while sipping on a hurricane. The pool is perfect for little ones with a dragon water slide and a separate play area for those under 48” There is also a separate spa area for the adults away from the pool area. It’s sister resort, Port Orleans Riverside (PORS), is within walking distance which has several restaurants and another pool to enjoy! You cant forget to take the boat to Disney Springs one night. POFQ was just updated two years ago, and it’s becoming a very popular.

Caribbean Beach Resort takes the win for this category! This Resort has such a beautiful atmosphere! Like the name implies, you will feel transported to a beachy relaxing vacation! I absolute love the Fuentes del Morro pool here. It has 2 waterslides as well as a shipwreck play area for the little ones. Right nearby the pool, you can gran your favorite tropical drink from the Banana Cabana. I love the sandy beach areas throughout the resort where you can relax on a chair or hammock. This Resort offers 5th sleeper rooms which come at a great price point for a family of 5. There also is Pirate Themed rooms here sure to please your young buccaneers! This Resort is also located on the Skyliner which is a HUGE plus! If you are staying here, I always recommend choosing a Preferred Room since this is a larger Resort.

Beach Club is crazy amazing and up first to brag about– is its AMAZING pool area Stormalong Bay. Its hands down the best pool on property. With a lazy river, hot tubs, a waterslide, sand play areas, and a sand bottom pool, you won’t be missing out when you’re resting at the resort. Be sure you take some time away from the parks to truly take this Resort in! You’ll be dragging your kids out of the pool area here and you out of the lazy river. This Resort has an airy and breezy feel that is sure to help you unwind and relax after your long park days. Beach Club has a prime location within walking distance to the International Gateaway at Epcot. Our room was less than a 3 minute walk to Epcot! You can even walk over to the Boardwalk to enjoy all the food, drinks, and shops over there. With water taxi transportation, you can get to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios so easily. One of my favorite stops here is Beaches and Cream! A small Soda shop that has the cutest atmosphere! Grab a burger and a shake and take it all in! They even have a carry-out window if you can’t get a reservation to eat in the restaurant. Beach Club definitely takes the cake for anyone wanting to really enjoy their time at their Resort! We made sure to take some breaks during the our park days to enjoy every second of our stay here.

Hellllllo Polynesian! One of my absolute favorite places to stay! This Resort has such a beautiful atmosphere! Here you’ll feel whisked away to the South Pacific. This Resort has the perfect location with views of Magic Kingdom across Seven Seas Lagoon! Grab a Dole Whip from the Pineapple Lanai and plop your bottom on the beach to watch Happily Ever After Fireworks. They even pipe in the music for you! This Resort has 2 giant pools (1 with a waterslide) and a water play area for younger children. They are beautiful and you’ll never get your kids out (speaking from experience)! Don’t get me started on all the food here! From Capt. Cook’s, to Kona Cafe, to ‘Ohana, to the coolest bar on property Trader Sam’s! Oh and don’t forget the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (fingers crossed this comes back soon)!! I love that this Resort is on the Monorail. It makes mid day breaks from Magic Kingdom & EPCOT (when the line is running) so easy! This Resort has been newly renovated with adorable Moana rooms. You’ll also find Villas here with a Lilo & Stich theme. These Villas accommodate 5 people instead of 4 and have a second showering area! Wanting to go ALL OUT!?! Check out a Bungalow! Talk about bucket list! Even if Poly isn’t in your budget, definitely check out the grounds the next time you’re in Disney World.

Animal Kingdom Villas is a winner for the whole family. The stunning views of the animals up close from either your room balcony or the community outlooks is the BEST surprise! It is split into 2 different buildings both featuring DVC rooms and Jambo has guest rooms as well. You can travel to one another via bus or a quick 5-7 minute walk. Kidani has an amazing pool with zero entry for even the littlest guests, 2 water slides a big one and a little one for the toddlers, an AMAZING splash pad play place, and 2 hot tubs. Relaxing and fun for the whole family. Kidani is also home to Sanaas which is an amazing restaurant with views of the animals out the windows while you eat- SO COOL! But if you think Kidani sounds amazing, wait until you walk into the Jambo House lobby! It is gorgeous and the outlook is at the back of the lobby down the stairs. It has the largest pool on Disney property and also a zero entry pool with a water slide. There are so many different rooms types between the two buildings-value studio, studio, 1 BR, 2 BR, 3 BR Grand Villa, Club Level, Savannah View, Pool View, King Beds, etc. The 1 BR in Kidani has 2 bathrooms which is perfect for families. There is something for everyone’s needs between the two resorts. And while you have to take buses to each it makes for a little bit more of a peaceful resort.

The Villas at Grand Florida win over here! This Resort just screams Disney MAGIC!! This Resort is so iconic and romantic! Here you can choose between a Deluxe Studio, a 1 Bedroom Villa, a 2 Bedroom Villa, or a 3 Bedroom Villa. We stayed in a Deluxe Studio and had an amazing view of the Monorail and Seven Seas Lagoon from our balcony. This Resort has great pools and a water play area for younger kids. I absolutely love the Beauty and The Beast themed bar, The Enchanted Rose. One of my favorite character dining options resides here as well. 1900 Park Fare (currently closed) is my favorite character dining experience. Not only is the food amazing, the characters are so much fun! I highly suggest Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner where you’ll dine with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella. I am crossing my fingers for a reopening date soon! At this Resort you’ll be walking distance to the Magic Kingdom! It recently opened its walking path! Or if you prefer, it is a short Monorail ride over to the Magic Kingdom. There’s just something about staying right in the heart of Disney with views of Magic Kingdom! Definitely add it to your Resort list to check out!
