How we help as TAs is really actually simple. We add discounts automagically to your package as soon as they are released! Discounts are limited for each resort and room category, so this is a huge help. Don’t wait on the phones, don’t get stuck in orbit on the computer. How to get them? When? Where? Don’t worry I have all of that info here for you! But first- Why are these so important? Because these Disney gift cards can be used to pay for your deposit, your resort, tickets, dining, and even your souvenirs! YES, you heard that right! Isn’t it amazing? They can save you anywhere from 5%-16% of your trip- you cannot beat that!
TARGET– if you have a RedCard you get the 5% off when you buy gift cards
Sam’s Club or BJ’s– Typically have them 4-6% off. They have different amounts and discounts vary so DO THE MATH before purchasing. Sometimes 10 of the $25 gift cards is cheaper then the $75 ones, etc.
Kroger– (or any similar store) I use fuel points to save indirectly! I always buy when they have 4x fuel points on gift cards. Each $250 gift card gives me $1 off per gallon for up to 35 gallons. So I save $35 for every $250 gift card I buy- or 14%. I have to buy gas anyways, so this way I save money and put it toward our trips
giftcarddeal.com– while this is the biggest savings at 16% (currently). They can be difficult to get. Set up for an email alert when they restock. You have to be quick! They also take approximately 4-6 weeks to get, but definitely worth it when you can snag one!
So many apps that are so easy to use and you can trade in your points for cash or free gift cards! Some give you cash back right into your accounts when you hit certain amounts. Some give you payment in the form of gift cards. Some have Disney, some have Paypal, and some have ones for groceries stores so you use those toward your groceries and put the money saved toward your trip! Take a look at this list and join as many as you can by clicking each one! My favorite is Swagbucks! I saved over $500 in just a few months thanks to the help of the Swagging your way to Disney Facebook group!

Shopkicks– walk into the store-THATS IT! you can also scan or purchase items for more points!
Ibotta– select purchases you will make on the app and then make sure to upload and verify each purchase to get your money.
Rakuten – [previously Ebates] earn cash back at select stores by shopping through the app. Earn $30 for your 1st $30 spent! #freemoney
Fetch -upload your receipts and get points for your purchases
If you have an airline card like my Delta American Express, you can earn free miles to put toward savings on your airfare- mine also allows me free luggage for each person in our family-this is a huge savings- $60 round trip per person!
Disney VISA card-is another great one to have! You can use it to pay for your trips interest free for 6 months. It also has perks like special photo opportunities or meet and greets. Keep an eye out because they also have discounts for the resorts specifically for card members sometimes. If you let us know you have one- we will make sure you pay with that form of payment to get the discount!
